Life Groups at Chisenhall Fellowship
Learn to follow Jesus personally and disciple others.
What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are:
- Closed groups. The same people every time
- 2-3 people of the same gender
- Focused on helping each other grow in Christ, leaders ensure a safe environment with trust and boundaries.
In order to help people find a Life Group, we offer Life Group Interest Meetings twice a year. Although this is not a direct sign-up into a Life Group, it is a great step to take to see what is available and what the timing can look like.
Why Life Groups Matter
We grow spiritually only with intentionality and accountability.
Why
It is how Jesus discipled people.
People need reminders, often.
Safe spaces to share life need cultivation and protection.
How it works
Come to a Life Group Interest Meeting.
Closed groups of 2-3 people of the same gender.
Homework and accountability train people in the Way of Jesus.
The Life Group Field Guide tracks progress, assignments, and prayer.
How often
Every other week for 5 months at a time (15 months total).
Each group manages its own day, time, and location.
Groups can choose to continue for two additional 5-month sessions.
Who it is for
People looking to get more intentional about following Jesus.
Longtime members who need to begin discipling others.
Anyone ready to start being the church.
